EGDIF EGDIF SHEAPRENEUR GHANA is a flagship women and youth enterprise development programme of EcoGrowth Development Initiatives Foundation (EGDIF), designed to transform actors within Ghana’s shea value chain into competitive, innovative, and financially sustainable entrepreneurs.
The programme focuses on building strong shea-based enterprises through entrepreneurship training, business incubation, product innovation, digital transformation, and market access support across Northern Ghana and beyond.

The programme focuses on shifting participants from raw material production and basic processing into full enterprise ownership through structured support in entrepreneurship, innovation, value addition, branding, and market access.
The initiative addresses key challenges in the shea sector including low value addition, limited business skills, weak branding systems, inadequate access to finance, and restricted market integration. It provides structured pathways for enterprise development and growth.
Through entrepreneurship training, business incubation, product innovation hubs, digital enterprise development, and export readiness support, SHEAPRENEUR GHANA equips participants with practical tools to build competitive businesses in local and global markets.
The programme is initially implemented across Northern Ghana, with a long-term vision of scaling nationwide to strengthen women-led enterprises and position Ghana as a leading hub for shea-based products and innovation.
